Haiti Earthquake

Haiti is so far away from Singapore.

The Creole- and French-speaking Caribbean country has been devastated by the earthquake of a massive 7.0 magnitude, just before 5 pm Eastern time.

Frantic rescue efforts are underway to free people trapped in the rubble.
