Tip: How to redeem your Facebook Credits in FarmVille

I have redeemed my FaceBook Credits in FarmVille and you should too. Or at least use it for other games if you have not. It will be expired in the next 24hours (at least for me).

So I redeemed it in FarmVille because I want to get the Unwither ring (which is unavailable now unfortunately but I am not in any hurry so I will wait for it to be appear again ;p)

This is the success page you will see when you manage to get it. Yeah I traded 10 Facebook Credit (equivalent to $1)  for 4 FarmVille Cash.

So the first thing I did was to click on Get Farm Cash (top of the screen, 5th tab).
Then I selected the 4 FarmC for $1.00 USD.

Then s ask if I want to use the 10 credits (I took this screen at my 2nd redeemption. You can redeem only 10 credits each time).

Buy 4 FarmCash!

And I was told that I am done!

Your purchase was successful. Items are usually delivered immediately, but during periods of high traffic, it can take 3-4 hours for your purchase to appear in your account.

Well, I needed 3 items to build it: 4 Bricks, 4 Nails and 4 Wooden Board. I bet that I needed more to expand it!

FarmVille - Valentines Box 2011

FarmVille has rolled out the 2011 Valentines Box again.

Read my 2010 posts here.

Well there is nothing new about this, if you are a regular Farmer like me. FarmVille gives you a Valentine Box which you will place in your Farm. Once you do that, you will be allowed to 'share' with your neighbor something (and in this case, a Valentine) so that you will be able to tell them to give you more in return!



And this time, for 2011, there is a little bit of difference. You will be allowed to redeem the special rewards without getting the valetines through Facebook Wall posts or special delivery or what-nots. You can simply pay real money (yes, the hard cash that you have in your real wallet) for it. That is why even when I have 0 Valentines (which labels me as a 'Loveless' hahaha, I love that term), the green Redeem button is still available for me to click.




You see, you will be asked:

You do not have enough to redeem for "Valentine Ram". Would you like to spend 50 Farm Cash to redeem for this item?

 Well, I will not be paying FarmVille Cash for the sheep though I want it badly... So, please send me more Valentines... and meanwhile, here's a close up of the sheep I redeemed last year.... Luv Ewe So sweet right! The one on the right (yellow one) is the Sunny Ewe

FarmVille - Looking for Love

Have you been doing the Looking For Love event in FarmVille?

Well, I just did!

I needed to get a Pink Rose Stand and from the Market before I can complete. There was another item needed but I cannot remember what it was.

The Pink Rose Stand costs $300 Coins and could be sold for $15 Coins for 5 XP.

The reward is for 100 XP, $2,500 Coins and 1 Red Sheep.

Thanks for helping out! Seeing Cupid's Castle really did the trick. Now all we need to do is to find her a suitor!

FarmVille - Cupid's Castle (Update)

I wrote earlier about the Cupid's Castle here.

Well, thanks to the super Special Delivery, I got my upgrades :)

As you can see from the 4 pictures (I put them in a grid form), you can see that the upgraded castle looks gorgeous! There was a small red bowl in front of the castle and I wondered what it is for.

Anyway I think I will continue with the game on Sunday (today's Thursday) as I gotta go for my brother's birthday dinner tomorrow and I am heading to Johor for a paintball session on Saturday. Hope things go well!

And yeah, almost missed this, a second upgrade. This time it required 15 x 3 items:

15 Wooden Boards

15 Nails

15 Bricks

FarmVille - Cupid's Castle

Are you ready?

It's Valentine's Day soon, but not after Chinese New Year though (starts 3 Feb 2011)...

Get ready for Valentine's Day by building Cupid's Castle! Once complete, you'll be able to harvest it for special rewards!

Once you click 'Place Now', you will be able to place the frame. But if you are like me, always out of space in FarmVille, please go to your Gift Box, the Frame will be there for you to click 'Use'.

Otherwise, you can also buy a new one at Market, under Buildings. It costs $5 Coins for 40 days from 20 Jan 2011.

 Well, I have placed my frame and this is so cute! Pink! My favorite color! *bleah*

And you will be able to tell your neighbors that you have started on this project by doing an announcemenet:

Congrats! You've started building your Cupid's Castle! Let your friends know so they can send you building parts!

And guess what, you will need some (usual) stuff for completing the frame:

FarmVille - Duckpond

Have you began your Duck Pond yet?

Build a Duck Pond today and showcase your ducks!

Then harvest your Duck Pond once a day for a chance to find a duckling!

If you click 'Place Duck Pond!' then you will be able to put the pond on an empty space on your Farm. But if you accidently click on another icon (eg: arrow or harvest icon), you can still find the Duck Pond in your Gift Box.

And you will be able to ask for help once you have placed the Duck Pond in your Farm:

Pek could use some shovels and watering cans over here for their Duck Pond. Pretty sson, they'll be able to show off all the ducks they've collected!

And of course there is the items you need to build:

20 of Watering Cans

20 of 2 Shovels

Show you pictures of mine when it is completed!

FarmVille - Special Delivery Boxes (Jan 2011)

Thank you friends!

For sending me these 44 Special Delivery Boxes. FarmVille has changed the way the Special Delivery Boxes are opened.

Perviously I have to open them one by one by one by one .... and that was with each trip to the Gift Box!

Then the Gift Box automatically opens after each gift was open. Then now, you can open all at once! yeah!

FarmVille - Holly Red and Wintergreen

Are you on this quest yet?

After getting snow blanket and Winter Workshop, I still gotta slog! After getting the holiday lights and the Candy Arch, hey, more jobs yet!

But I did get some small reward - 250 XP, $5,000 Coins and 1 Silver Nutcracker.

Then there is this Holly Red and Wintergreen event to help the worker elves feel at home.

Need to get the 1 Winter Workshop (which was done earlier) and then harvest another 100 Spinach and 100 Strawberries! Goot!

Strawberries take 4hours to ripe and Spinach 14hours!

Now I need to harvest Strawberries and Spinach! And I would have time to complete it this afternoon, but not now! *sigh*

I am still waiting for my peanuts to mature... *sigh*...

FarmVille - Winter Wonderland

I feel cheated by FarmVille!

In my last post on the winter landscape, I posted pictures where FarmVille promised free winter landscape and after completing the Tis The Season event to get a winter workshop and a Candy Arch I still did not get my winter snow!

So I went to click on the picture icon and turned out, I still need to place 4 parts in my Workshop and get 6 holiday lights!

Really feel like I am chasing the smoke!

Anyway the snow blanket costs $1,000 Coins and I will need to go and gather more holiday lights. Lucky I have some in my Gift Box. Well, good to go!

FarmVille - Tis The Season

I saw this project at the left side of my screen - 'Tis The Season

I'am Zing, your worker elf. Help me turn this place into a winter wonderland and I'll add FREE Snow and Lights to your farm!

All it requires is a Winter Workshop (read here on what you need to do to get the Winter Workshop) and a Candy Arch.

The Candy Arch is available from the Market under Decorations for $2,000 for a period of 14 days from today (11 December 2010). You will gain 20 XP when you place 1 on your farm. It can be sold for 100 coins.

So I got my Winter Workshop and the Candy Arch.

The rewards for completing the event is 100 XP, $2,500 coins and 1 Pine Tree :)
