Mafia Wars - New Inventory

Oh I love Mafia Wars... They have made it easier to play and it is a no-brainer. Give us what we want!

The new Inventory page shows the number of items that we have for each fight (see picture, Top Left)... of course within the usual 501 mafia member, each of us need to have a weapons, vehicle, armor and animals. Just like Sorority Life

And it tells us what is the item information (see picture, Top Right) for Attack and Defence Points, with Mafia Strengths (see picture, Bottom Left) and of course the quality of the item (see picture, Bottom Right), not sure if this really matters?

Anyway this is something wonderful.

I just wish that they will tell you how many items you have, at the Build Page for Factories so that I won't accidently "over build" something...

Mafia Wars - Kitchen Knife

Yesterday I wrote that Mafia Wars is linking up Cafe World fans... Well, I got my kitchen knife :)

As promised, the Kitchen Knife has an attack of 27 and defence of 57 :)

Just found out that you can get a special weapon if you play Cafe World (why is Mafia Wars recruiting Chefs?)

The Kitchen Knife gives an attack of 27 and Defence of 57.

And you will get one if you level up in Cafe World, from Level 10 onwards.

Mafia Wars -

Today's Sunday night...

This weekend, Facebook changed the position of the game tokens/requests to the left side, from the right side.
Not sure why this change, but I suspect it is because Facebook wants to create a space for more advertisement or another "add-on"... Time will tell if I am right...

But this weekend, all the games were showing that the games requests were on the left side of the screen...

SINGAPORE: The taxi that went off the road and onto a five-foot way in Geylang has been removed. 

A 30-year-old Vietnamese woman was killed in the accident near Geylang Lorong 41 early Friday morning. 

It took two hours and 20 people to remove the taxi on Saturday. 

They had to remove it piece by piece, as the cab was stuck in the narrow corridor. 

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is assessing the safety of the affected structure.

Mafia Wars - New York Armor Upgrade

Have you got your New York Armour Upgrade yet?

Build new armor to fight with more power. Head to your Properties page in New York and suit up.

There it is, the new property, it looks like a similar design to the Weapons Depot...

Then there's the chance to share when you build it...

So I did...

 Even legendary fighter needs strong armor. Collect construction parts to build your Amory. Then you can make new armor everyday to use in fights. The more you upgrade your Armory, the better your items will get. Ask your friends to send you construction parts or buy them with reward points. It's the only way!

Sounds like a tactic to get us to spend more! Well, sounds like a bigger Mafia is gonna help too! The armors you can get from this latest New York Amory are:

• A Pair of Ocular Implants (Common)
• A Camourflage Body Armor (UnCommon)
• A Pressure Suit (Rare)

Of course you can Ask Friends for help! Yeah, to build a decent or awesome Armory!

Well, these are the 5 items for the building:

5 Hammer

5 Rivet

5 Furnace

5 Vice

5 Anvil

These are also available for bulk purchase for 25 gold coins or individual sales for 1 gold coin each.

You can also ask for individual items to be sent to you. This will appear on your wall. I asked for Furnace first....

 And then the Armory will show you what you can build yet... As long as you have the parts for the basic items... As you can see from these 2 pictures, different randsom items are available for different levels of upgrades for the Armory.

Mafia Wars - Level Up Bonus for FarmVille

Yeah!

This is the best part about playing all of Zynga's games. You level up in one and get a bonus for the rest!

I saw this link in FrontierVille to get a Sharp Axe.

Well, first, FrontierVille told me that the Rattlesnake Canyon is ready.

Then the Sharp Axe notice came. It says:

Wanna clear your homestead faster an' easier? Go find yourself a Sharp Axe by gaining levels in Zynga's Mafia Wars game! Are ya' interested? (Minimum Mafia Wars Level of 5 and limit one Sharp Axe per 16hours!)

Then when I click Yes, I saw this screen (in a new window) with Mafia Wars showing the FrontierVille Axe sign.

Welcome to Mafia Wars!

Complete Jobs to gain experience and level up. Every day you LEVEL UP in Mafia Wars, you earn another Sharp Axe!

After a few clicks, the notice came:

Then I got this thing:

Congratulations! You just knocked off some mafia bosses, so takin' down a buncha tree oughta be a piece of cake. You can find your Sharp Axe in your Inventory. Ready to start choppin?

 

The cursor turns into an Axe. And when I click on the huge tree that I want to cut down, it says that there are 12 chops and 1 Sharp Axe left. And I begin chopping.

 

The Axe is really wonderful!

You used a special Sharp Axe! Wanna make any cutting remarks to your friends!

And there you see, there are 8 chops left, so 4 were taken by the Sharp Axe, not bad ar!

 

Anyway when I continue with Mafia Wars, I discovered I had levelled up. And there is this FarmVille bonus waiting for me!




Anyway I got this Mystery gift.

 It is a Mafia Wars Mystery Fuel Box :)

Mafia Wars - Las Vegas

Today I went to Las Vegas, in Mafia Wars :)

How to reach the Boss
There are several ways to reach the boss in each district:

Energy Path
You should choose the Energy Path if you have a high amount of Enery.

Fight Path
Choose the fight if you have serious muscle and stamina to beat your rivals. You'll need to fight your way through to complete this path.

Social Path
A helpful Mafia can help you finish jobs much easier with this path, as their help can contribute to your Job Mastery.

Master ALL jobs in the district to unlock the next level of mastery.

Icons
The Lightning icon represents a job that uses enery. All paths have jobs that require energy.
The Gun icon represents a job you must complete by fighting. You are required to spend stamina to complete these jobs.
This Hailer icon means your Mafia can help you to make this job easier. Each Mafia member that helps you increase your Job Mastery.
This Building icon indicates that completing this job will provide you with items to build your casino resort. Mastering this job for the first time unlocks a new casino property.
This Key icon represents a job that requires a special gate loot to complete. This gate loot usually can be found on earlier jobs in the district, and n the marketplace.
All path leads to the boss. Once you have defeated the boss, you can move to the next district.

How To Do Jobs
Use the map to explore different jobs and paths to completing districts.
Path Tabs - Select a job path that suits your style.
Job Panel - Learn job stats, and do jobs in the active, highlighted panel.

Basically you can choose the Energy Path or Fight Path. For me, I decided that the Fight Path is the way for me. But I took a scroll in both paths. The jobs were completely the same!

Then I did a job in the Fight Path. The usual information comes up:

Success! (or Failure if you fail? Happens if you encounter internet connection problems, happened to me a few times!)
What you gain: Level Experience (XP), Tool and Job mastery
What you spent: Energy

 For the 3rd job, I found that I needed to get some loot items, and I had to buy it.

 Then I went to the Energy Path / Tab and found that the job mastery transfers over and I could find another way to complete my job, if it happens to have a Friend or Mafia Option.

Well, this is something for a Fight Option. If you see the next 2 pictures, you will know that the people you need to fight are not the same and I think comes from the old Fight Tabs. Different Mafia Size on different level, jumbles up each time you fight.

 And after buying the required loot, you are notified in the same screen too. I think this makes the game more effective, with out a popup to show you. So you don't have to click to close that notice.

 And the results of the fight is shown immediately too:
What you brought with you to the fight: Number of Gang Member, Number of attacking Points
What they brought with them to the fight: Number of Gang Member, Number of attacking Points
Who you fought with: Nickname, Level and an option to show what was used)
What you Gained: Energy, Tool, Job Mastery
What you Spent: Stamina
