Check emails constantly is a bother. I decided that I do not want to receive emails since I am already logging into Facebook like 16 or 20 hours a day. (I leave my pc on wholeday).
I recently removed all email notifications for my Facebook account. If you want to follow me, here is how:
Step 1
Log into Facebook and click on Accounts (Top right hand corner)
Step 2
Click on Account Settings
Step 3
Remove all the checkboxes for Emails.
You are done.

There is no reason for emails if I am already logging into Facebook regularly.
