Facebook Changes Feed

Facebook changes its feed (yet again!). This time Facebook added the all famous Like to the comments.

There is the usual 'count' to the number of friends who like the post. This is good since it means more information. But I am wondering if it will just kill Facebook? How will this affect the servers?

Already, I have been experiencing lags on weekend evenings. Even on some weekday nights! I am just wondering.
