Well, more about what you can do in FrontierVille.
First, the most important thing for you to know is, how to gain energy. You need energy to conduct activities like farming, clear grass, or other similar things on your farm. You do not need them for helping your neighbors though. So you get energy though the Market (bottom right hand corner) on the game screen.
You will also get random stuff which are part of collectibles - such as a letter from your Spouse-To-Be.
These are usually explained to you, what they are for. (Such as this one for mails)
Most activities are shown with screen help from Frontier Jack (that is the guy with that cute hat ;p)
